Ryan is a current member of the Association of Professional Piercers and served on the APP’s Board of Directors from 2016-2019. Ryan splits his work time between professional piercing and instructing body art education classes both in person and online. Since the start of the covid era Ryan has produced webinars and piercing educational videos for on-demand viewing at www.patreon.com/ryanpba. He has instructed classes at the APP’s annual conference in the United States as well as at conferences in the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, and Brazil. Lecture 1: Progressive Nipple piercings
As body piercings evolve it is important to focus on issues connected to pushing a needle. Every piercing has its own unique anatomical challenges, and nipple piercings are no exception. This presentation will discuss post-surgical nipple piercing, hormone replacement therapy in relation to nipple piercing, inverted nipples and more. This class will be based on "freehand" piercing methods utilizing bevel theory with blade needles.

What kind of gloves should we be using in our studios? Discussing materials: latex, nitrile, and vinyl. Discussing terminology: exam gloves, surgeon's gloves, general cleaning gloves. Sterile vs Non-Sterile, including a demonstration of how to properly don & doth (put on and remove) gloves.
